acuttita 49 Posted July 2, 2018 I’m two months post-op and I’m struggling when it comes to the weekend. I find myself eating probably more than I should. Saturday’s are spent in school until 430 and then I don’t do anything afterwards and Sunday’s are usually spent down by my pool and I then want to binge eat when I come back to my house. I’m going to go back to basics tomorrow and go on a liquid diet for a few days but I feel like I might be messing up everything I’ve worked so hard to accomplish. Lyngolean 81 Posted July 2, 2018 I would be curious about what is behind eating more than your probably should...Are you hungry? Is it emotional eating? Are you craving certain foods? Whatever the problem, I would try to find a different solution. Hunger, in my experience, has usually meant I need to get more Protein or Water. Emotional eating means I need to use different tools other than food to help me with whatevr uncomfortable emotion I'm having. Usually I can distract myself from cravings. Your answers will be unique to you, but feel free to brainstorm here if that's helpful! I came to this forum for help about eating too much when eating out. SO MUCH experience with everyone here. I think it has to do with emotional eating but I do know that I’m not getting enough Water or Protein. I feel as if I’m retaining my water intake and I’m not using the bathroom enough.
