My instructions are not to lift over 10lbs for first 6 weeks. After that, I guess just start low and see how you feel.

I was cleared for more than walking at one month, including strength training. I was told to expect to need Tylenol and an ice pack and eat a serving of Protein afterwards, I think I did need Tylenol the first time or two but was fine overall. Good luck!

I didn’t start lifting right away but I needed to lose a bit before I could get real motivated with lifting. I was pretty big before and working out was a big chore.
