Editing isn't that bad. It's more complicated than it used to be though.

Do you know how to do it and get rid of all the smiley faces?

But then it puts in code whenever there's a break in a paragraph or an emoticon that's been added. I'll edit if it's a simple post, but if I've quoted someone or added emoticons, I'll just make an entire new post to go under the first one. Takes less time.

Oh yeah, that's right. I have worked in the IT world forever, so I just remove those without thinking about it.... It is a pain to edit, now that I think about it. :tired

I was a book worm in elementary school. I started reading romances when I was in the 4th grade, I think (mostly Harlequins and that type), and then graduated up from there. I was reading giant Tom Clancy novels in 5th and 6th grade, along with my dad's Vietnam War novels. I was well-known for always having a book in my hands. I'm somewhat of a speed-reader, too. I can finish a 300-page novel in 3-4 hours. I'd literally read them back to back.

Same here! :) I used to adore reading in HS I would carry 2-3 books around with me to read when I got a few moments spare time which I had allot of. Teacher give us a test or assignment to do in class I would buzz through it and then get to read my books. LOL. Mine were widely varried though from romances, to sci fi and fantasy to things like history and the occult. First couple of times in HS I went to the library and asked what the limit was to borrow. Librarian said none so I brought up a 3 foot stack of books she almost fainted. lol

After about the 3rd time she stopped worrying though and expected me to come in at least every 2 days and we started recommending books to each other.

I kinda of miss reading now. I kinda dropped it after getting online. Except for when something really grabs me like my daughter getting harry potter. I HAD to read them also.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
