nenes78 528 Posted June 29, 2018 I bought a sleeveless under armour at big 5. it was on sale for $25 i went with a 2x weighd about 280 (about a month after surgery) at the time. I also found compression T's at target for $13. As for size go 1 size smaller than you wear. good thing about going to a store is you can try them on. After you learn your size you can buy online as well. Good luck.
BlueCrush 408 Posted June 30, 2018 I buy the Tesla brand compression shirts on Amazon. I've tried a bunch and like those best. As poster above said, but 1 size smaller than you normally wear. I like these because they're long and can be easily tucked in if wearing a an undershirt. https://www.amazon.com/Tesla-TM-MUA05-KLB_Large-Sleeveless-Compression-Baselayer/dp/B077ZP5P7X/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1530325887&sr=8-3&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=tesla+compression+shirt
ka2aub 2 Posted June 30, 2018 Go to eastbay.com. I use the Eastbay Evapor. It's their "generic" brand. I wear it religiously. It's inexpensive and they have 2 for sales on it most of the time. The compression is great and they last forever.
Matt Z 4,139 Posted July 3, 2018 Compression gear should be purchased at 1 size smaller than your current comfortable shirt size. Brand really doesn't matter too much, go for the cheapest up front, until you get to a stable size. I'm already out a bit of money on compression gear due to size drops. I've been buying from a company called RedPlume on Amazon, they've got some good compression gear and some great "Super Hero" prints (like the superman shirt in my avatar) 1 nenes78 reacted to this

nenes78 528 Posted July 6, 2018 I originally purchased a compression shirt right after surgery because it was easier to use and more comfortable than the band the doctor gave me. Now I use compression shirts to help with the loose skin. I am starting to run and with 100+ lbs lost my skin jiggles a lot. The compression shirt helps reduce much of that jiggle, that is the main reason I use it. There are other claims about it such as helping circulation and keep body heat in as well as wick away moisture. 1 Glen Dean reacted to this

This is most likely where redplume is sourcing their gear, and most have free shipping. The only issue is the time to receive your gear. https://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale?catId=100003071&initiative_id=AS_20180706080853&SearchText=super+hero+compression

I currently use a US XL size. Which using the inch to cm conversion looks like their size XXL. What size is you superman shirt for reference? we are the same height and i weigh 255 now. The superman is XXL, And truth be told, at 247 right now, it's not as compressive as it once was. I bought an XL from Red Plume and it fits snug like you'd expect now. 1 Glen Dean reacted to this
