Emersyn 10 Posted June 29, 2018 What are some good bariatric veggie dips?
White Sale 339 Posted June 29, 2018 I would make ranch flavored one with extra Protein and have it with carrot chips. 8oz Neufchatel cheese ~1/2 C of sour cream ~1/2 packet of ranch seasoning 2 scoops of unflavored Protein Powder 1 Emersyn reacted to this
Frustr8 7,886 Posted June 30, 2018 I would think hummas is also a good choice. 1 Emersyn reacted to this
BigViffer 3,544 Posted June 30, 2018 You can make all sorts of dips with plain greek yogurt. I make my ranch dip with it. But more often than not I just opt for hummus. Love that stuff. 1 Emersyn reacted to this
Emersyn 10 Posted July 2, 2018 Ahhh yes. Hummus is addicting haha! I also love mild guacamole....mmmm and we found superlow cal low sugar crab dip too! I am definitely going to try that greek yogurt/ranch dip idea! Thank you!
Oceanlove 98 Posted July 2, 2018 I just can’t get into hummus. I have tried so many different ones. Any other dip ideas?
Pearldrop 164 Posted July 2, 2018 I love beetroot dip, white bean, spinach and carrot dip. But as I love to eat them with soft bread I’m currently giving them a miss. In time I might have them again.

In case you ever feel like doing the "from scratch" route, you can make your own mix: Quote 1/3 cup dry buttermilk 2 tablespoons dried parsley 2 teaspoons dried dill weed 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon onion powder 2 teaspoon dried onion flakes 1 teaspoon ground black pepper 1 teaspoon dried chives 1 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt 1 cup fage plain yogurt I like doing this just so I know everything that is in the mix instead of monosodium glutamate, modified food starch, maltodextrin, guar gum, Calcium stearate, natural flavor (soy). MSG, modified starch and maltodextrin, and guar gum are in high concentration than buttermilk in commercially available ranch packets. 2 TakingABreak and Taoz reacted to this
