If you feel you're going to be wetting yourself still move on to reward slowly but bravely. It is far better to leave smal droplets than than to stand frozen and immobile in a puddle of pee signed S. W. W. ( sadder, wiser , wetter) February 2019πŸ’¦πŸ˜₯πŸ’¦

I can either let it DEFINE ME* CONFINE ME*REFINE ME* or even. OUTSHINE ME! or choose to move on and leave the sorrows and pains of the Past Behind Me.
In this GRAND JOURNEY OF LIFE I Am wagering on me for the win. The world may see only outward failure , they have totally discounted my inner strength and courage. It is a Win- Win situation for ME!πŸ‘‰πŸ˜πŸ‘ˆ

I just heard this quote from a YouTube dude I watch @Mr Ben Brown. I first heard of him from a series he does called " Visual Vibes" . It's mainly just video with great music and great scenery of trips he's been on. I find him to be quite inspirational although I did not expect it when I 1st started watching his content. The video he said this in is called "a human in 2018". You don't have to know his story to appreciate what he is saying...... Anyway the quote is

"I was born into this world a human being, not a human doing"

We struggle with so many thoughts about the future or the past. What can we do to be better or what could we have done. JUST REMEMBER TO BE IN THE MOMENT. Not quite the point he was making but this was my interpretation of it.

Life is the most difficult exam you will ever take. Many fail because they try to copy others; they fail to realize each of us is given a different question sheet.πŸ“

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
