AlteredReality 152 Posted June 26, 2018 Surgery went well yesterday. Ended up with horrible gas pain and extra pain due to my incisions. I had a hernia repair years ago and one of my incisions had to go through some scar tissue. So that may the pain almost unbearable. I felt like I was in labor and could barely get up to walk they way I needed to. It's almost 6am and i'm still in some pain and a little nauseous now. Despite the pain, i'm still happy that I made the decision to have it done. HW: 297PSW: 248SW: 245GW:

Frustr8 7,886 Posted June 26, 2018 And Glory Glory, Reality is forever Altered! Now than you are, preparing to leave Twoferville for Onderland , you can give your place in Twoferville to me. After my July, surgery I am planning to move to Twoferville from Three- how, much did you say- town . It was a big place and I did fit there, but I plan to escape it . No looking behind, well you couldn't see much except the size of my behind anyway. Congratulations and best wishes for the future, both yours and mine! 1 AlteredReality reacted to this

My surgeon said it should be fine. I'm still worried it will be in the way. Not to mention 2 prior C sections, I'm sure those won't be in the way.Sent from my Alcatel_5056O using BariatricPal mobile app

I'm feeling a lot better now though. Just have a little soreness around it and some occasional pains that shot through like a labor pain. You will do fine though. They use an ultrasound to see where and how much scar tissue you have
Born in Missouri 1,264 Posted June 28, 2018 Hey, Girl. I noticed that you changed your surgery status from pre-surgery to post-surgery FIRST THANG! Woo-hoo. Just one of many exciting changes to come (some more exciting than others, I hope. Some of the changes in the first few weeks after our surgeries are challenging, but we can handle them, right?!!) Exactly two weeks post-op for me, and the next phase of my post-op diet. Whoopty-blah. 1 AlteredReality reacted to this
Born in Missouri 1,264 Posted June 28, 2018 I forgot to ask. Are you home or still in the hospital? I only stayed overnight and was discharged the following day on what my surgeon called a "conditional discharge" -- translation: I had to be able to get up and walk (my favorite part!), drink enough fluids, and juggle three rolls of toilet paper in the air. Just kidding about the second condition, er, I mean the last condition. 1 AlteredReality reacted to this
