Drealeeanne 13 Posted June 25, 2018 My surgery is July 30th and, being a planner by nature, I’ve made a list of what I should include in my hospital bag for my one night. Is there anything I’m not considering? Leggings Hoodie Camisole Slippers Deodorant Carmex/Burt’s Lotion Socks Sports bra Baby wipes Dial soap Face wash Underwear Battery pack Phone Book Extra long phone cable Headphones Headwrap Glasses case Mouthwash Toothbrush Toothpaste WW Blanket Gas ex thin strips 1 AEdoesRnY reacted to this
DaleCruse 756 Posted June 25, 2018 I know some people swear by those Gas-X strips, but I never needed them. Not once. If you like your eyeglasses as clean as I do, throw a lens cloth in your bag. Good luck! 2 Drealeeanne and sillykitty reacted to this
Matt Z 4,139 Posted June 25, 2018 I legit only used the following out of everything I packed: Dry mouth spray - life saver for right after surgery when they won't let you drink anything Lip Balm - same reason Sweatpants Slippers Deoderant Cellphone with charger and extra long cable. Pillow Blindfold and Ear plugs - recovery rooms / wards are far from quiet! That's honestly all I used. I wore the same clothes out as I wore in. 1 Ninarwiener reacted to this
mitch22622 21 Posted June 25, 2018 I'm packing my bag for tomorrow morning. Gotta be at the hospital 6amThanks for all the suggestions. I didn't want to over pack Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app 2 Luzbella and kjuno reacted to this
BostonWLKC 807 Posted June 25, 2018 I wore same clothes out as I did in! I brought all that stuff too but didn’t end up reading etc. slept and walked a lot. Really only used biotine spray , face wipes and phone charger. The hospital gives you tooth paste and mouth wash etc - hospitals are dirty lol unless you plan on throwing away your toothbrush you bring from home Good luck- you’ll do great!! BostonWLKC 807 Posted June 25, 2018 Oh.... I did bring sweat pants ! Walking in those gowns is horrible lol. I wish I brought a zip up hoodie or robe! 1 Deb100 reacted to this

soph504 47 Posted July 1, 2018 I know everyone says to bring a sports bra, I guess because that's more comfortable, but pulling a sports bra over your head and shoulders can be like wrestling with an enormous rubber band. Personally, I'm going with an easy front clasp bra 9 1 CCoulter82, ProudGrammy, SGirl35 and 7 others reacted to this

GermanShepherdMama 145 Posted July 3, 2018 I know that I way over packed. I definitely was not in the mindset to read or anything. I maybe watched some TV when I wasn't sleeping. I stayed in the hospital gown until I was discharged, just easier this way and I did not care. Take what you want, I don't regret over packing or anything. 1 Frustr8 reacted to this
