rs 1,473 Posted April 16, 2019 As we all find our new normal, I’m wondering if you all just continue to count Protein for losing weight. Or has anyone moved to Keto guidelines? Weight watchers?Good question. I'd like to know what others are doing. I haven't been using my food tracking app in a couple weeks, just because I was out of town for awhile plus extra busy at work so I was thrown off of that routine. I have been eating pretty much the same though so I don't feel like I strayed much from reaching protein goal. I'll continue to watch the scale and see if I feel I need to get back to tracking. My weight loss is certainly slowing down. I've lost 80 since 8-15-18 and wear a size 14 now. I still would like to lose at least another 15-25 lbs to get to a healthy BMI and into a size 10 or 12. I was diagnosed with Hashimotos recently. So that stinks. I can’t do Keto because of it. And I’m too poor to afford AIP Paleo at the moment. We have $20 to last the next 2 weeks for 5 of us. Hopefully tomorrow we get some good news, we do have some food stores but running out of that pretty quickly. Once we get back on our feet though Im going to try AIP Paleo 2 rs and clsumrall reacted to this

deena1516 6 Posted July 9, 2019 I had rny on May 23rd and I am still struggling with eating and drinking. Had to have iv fluids twice already because of dehydration. And the pain in my upper abdomen is unreal at times. Does anyone else have sharp pains in their upper abdomen? My surgeon isn’t concerned about it, but I am! It’s so hard to eat or drink anything without it causing pain.

Asking as you will likely get a better response if you find a 2019 thread or post separately as most of us have moved on from this thread. 1 rs reacted to this
Jlw265 7 Posted July 11, 2019 Hello! I am 4 days post op. Was sleeved on 7/8. I’m 41 years old. I finally got home and am feeling really nervous. Would love to hear about how everyone else is doing!
Leia 75 Posted August 7, 2019 Today is my 1 year! I'm 116 lbs down from my high on my best days. I've been plateaued at 165-160 for over a month now. I'm still really motivated and the energy hasn't gone away. I do want to lose another 15-25 lbs though and the plateau is driving me batty. Still I am SO HAPPY I DID THIS. 2 rs and Chrisb428 reacted to this
