Oh okay, got it. 31 days post op and I still feel like my range of motion could use a little more work. I walk fine but if I bend or turn my body weird I’m in pain. It’s awful. I want the faint soreness in my tummy to leave already

oclery 0 Posted July 29, 2018 Hello, everyone. I had my GB surgery on May 9th. My HW was 163kg (359.35 lbs), CW 142kg (313 lbs). I've gotten such confusing information from the dietician about the calories I can eat. According to my height, gender and BIA testing, she said I could eat up to 1510 kc/day - albeit, she said I would not manage that. [emoji23] After some research online, I reduced my intake to 1,000 - 1,200/day according to my activity level. When I read such posts, I fear that I am not getting the best information possible to successfully lose weight. I live in Germany and even the doctors at the hospital say that the USA and UK have more experience in this area. I am open for advice. J San 1,071 Posted July 29, 2018 @oclery I'm only two weeks post op so I really don't have any great advice to give you but I will say this. Start your own post so you don't get lost in this thread. I would even post it in multiple areas, Post Op weight loss, General weight loss and in the category that fits which surgery you had. Trust me you will get answers to any question you have here. Whatever you are going through there will be someone here that has been through it and will have some great information for you. Good Luck to You!!! 1 oclery reacted to this
Frustr8 7,886 Posted July 29, 2018 I hope, on here, we will give you the answers you seek! We don't get very many correspondents from Germany so we will cherish you more. I believe the last was in January 2018 and having her surgery in Switzerland. Welcome Again! 1 oclery reacted to this

Kcchick 11 Posted July 29, 2018 Is this considered a cream Soup?
lizvirgo09 24 Posted July 29, 2018 I would say so... just strain it...
Kcchick 11 Posted July 29, 2018 There is nothing in it to strain. I’m going on 10 days without a BM and taking Miralax and thought maybe this would help move things along.

Wow, I would go to the store tonight and get milk of magnesia before your impacted and have a ER visit. Many have taken this post op and had success. 10 days is way too long Edited July 30, 2018 by Kat0000
Kcchick 11 Posted July 30, 2018 My post op papers says only to use miralax the first 2 weeks. Milk of Magnesia is ok? I’m 10 days post op tomorrow
