Moe's is the same as Chipotle, just no e.coli or salmonella, and they have ground beef.
Did you know that Barbacoa is face meat?
"In the U.S., barbacoa is often prepared with parts from the heads of cattle, such as the cheeks"

Chipotle isn't using beef heads. Beef head meat is called cabeza at taquerias in SoCal, and it is delicious! I've never seen it referred to as barbacoa at local taquerias. (And I've had braised beef cheeks at some very high end restaurants, also delicious!)

A Texan that ❤Taco Bell with all that good Tex-Mex around? For shame, we'll keep it a secret, only you ,me and a couple hundred people on Bariatric Pal know. My biggest beef, I ask for soft shell and they substitute hard-shells all the time . But I do enjoy a taco salad, high fat deep fried shell and all!!

I had a colleague come out to SoCal and was surprised that we have Taco Bells, with all of the authentic Mexican places around. I had to explain it wasn't Mexican, it was Taco Bell, something different, but still delicious. It scratches a different itch than real Mexican food. And there is no better hangover cure than Taco Bell, especially a bean burrito with fire sauce!

And to anyone who's a fan of "blow things up movies" this is from Demolition Man (one of my faves): "All restaurants are now Taco Bell. They were the last survivor of the great franchise wars" as Sandra Bullock leads Sylvester Stallone into a super fancy restaurant - Taco Bell!

Honestly with how many issues with food poisoning they've had, Chipotle should be closed.

I agree!! They are always being mentioned on the website “I was poisoned “

I’m so glad in small-city Canada where I live we don’t have all those fast-food choices other than the standard McD’s, BK, Arby’s, Wendy’s, and Taco Bell! Both me and my hubby would be twice our size!
One thing I was always a sucker for was Wendy’s Baconator. But thankfully I’ve stayed away since my RNY!
Also, poutine (fries, cheese curds & gravy). It’s a Canadian thing and it’s my weakness! Can’t say no to anything with cheese!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
