If you could close one fast food chain

'Face meat'? 🤢

After reading that term, this 48 year long vegetarian would close them all down lol. Absolutely gross.

Carl’s Jr. has an astonishing amount of fat, calories and sodium in 99% of their food. Like it’s nearly impossible to find any edible at all. They are criminals in the obesity epidemic

Mine would be Hardee's- and not because I love it. I seriously think it is the worst food on the planet.

I am pretty sure that the "flame broiled" taste is just from the Hell fires. :71_smiling_imp: ;)

GAG!!!!!

Never been a fan of chipotle- free birds is ok, it's always the last on my list so it's been a few years since I've had it, but right now I could go for a bowl! I'm not a fan of McDonald's unless it's thanksgiving and custard pies are back, the only thing besides tea I will get off that menu. I boycotted CFA for 3 years but I got t craving some of their nugguts and fries, and as I got my bag I said I still love my gay friends! Little girl at the window says I do too! I think she miss heard what I said 🤦‍♀️😂 or maybe she is a supporter ( I'm a proud Christian gay supporter!- but I support everyone!)

The chain I would close is Burger king. I cringe thinking about the disgusting burger patty. It’s strange, I don’t miss fast food. The mystery meat has no appeal for me anymore.

It feels good when Mystery meat is History, when Fast food holds no appeal, and sweets are no treat. Then the New cocepts and New Habits can work for you and you find out this works and is quite doable. And then the rest of your life becomes the best of your life. I may even invest in a t-shirt that says just that!

Except sweets....still a weakness I’m working on.

Taco Time deserves to be shut down for butchering Mexican food.

What kind of Mexican Food Restaurant serves Tater Tots as a side, but doesn't offer tortilla chips? ?

Also, they put ranch dressing on some of their burritos, instead of sour cream!

No bueno!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
