magpie26 244 Posted June 27, 2018 Kohls will take ANYTHING back, tags or not, even if you've washed and worn it, even if you've had it for a year! No receipt! They also let you stack up to FIVE coupons! (I'm a coupon person, I even teach coupon/savings classes here and have a Facebook group) Goodwill here is super expensive but it's far away and in a big money town and I've had the worst luck with my local TJMaxx, maybe they're just b*****s at that one. 2 TakingABreak and Chrisb428 reacted to this
slbolemiss62 13 Posted June 27, 2018 👍🏻👍🏻 Sounds like a good deal to me. Thanks for the info
Creekimp13 5,840 Posted June 27, 2018 I love Kohls. I love that they offer no hassle returns, awesome discounts and Kohl's Cash. I always feel like I get out of there for a fair price. I don't have any issue with taking things back that don't work out......But there is no way I'd take something back to a store that I'd worn (other than trying it on). If you wear it...it's yours. Hell, I think if you take the tags off, it's yours. If you wash it, it's most certainly yours. Just cause you can....doesn't mean you should. If a store plays fair, customers should, too. 4 ProudGrammy, TakingABreak, Orchids&Dragons and 1 other reacted to this

I agree, I actually bought a dress recently from a store and I didn't notice it at first, but after I got home and wore it once time... I'm pretty sure it was "used" essentially, because the fabric was faded, once I compared it to another black item. Also the fibers were starting to poke out. I was so disappointed. I think whoever had it before me wore it, re tagged it, or returned without a tag, and I got a used dress for a new price. Tisk tisk. Made me so mad! 2 1 Orchids&Dragons, ProudGrammy and Creekimp13 reacted to this
magpie26 244 Posted June 27, 2018 I've never returned anything to Kohls, there's not one even near me, but I have seen their policy. I think I'd only use the policy if I had bought something and it ripped open after one wash, etc, you know, like how L.L. Bean used to be. If I buy something that's bad quality you're sure as shooting im getting my money back, I'm poor af! 1 1 Orchids&Dragons and Creekimp13 reacted to this
Kimber628 31 Posted June 28, 2018 That’s awesome advice! I struggle with Goodwill as I am tall but I should look for tops. I buy and sell on Poshmark and that has been fun. I used to shop online at ThredUP but they give you the lowest amount of money for your clothes. They gave me $2 for a brand name dress with tags on. Blah. 1 Frustr8 reacted to this

Bean used to be. For defects in workmanship and materials.....I can see how you'd justify that. I bought a $200 Columbia Coat and the zipper broke the first week I had it. I wrote them an email with photos and they sent me a replacement, an apology, and a free postage return box. Good customer service! I was going to pay someone to put in a new zipper...was really glad not to have to. Like Ash said, though, it annoys the hell out of me when people actually USE clothes and return them. Not only does it make the full price merchandise lower quality, the rest of us have to foot the bill for the losses and the hassle. Be classy and considerate and use returns sparingly....so a great return policy is there when you really need it:) 2 TakingABreak and Orchids&Dragons reacted to this
magpie26 244 Posted June 28, 2018 Exactly. That's why L.L.Bean stopped their return policy. People abuse things, I bought a camelback water bottle and it leaked and grew mold so I did email them and sent pictures, got a new one.

I order tons of clothes a few times a year, try everything on at home and then send everything I don't want back. I wonder if as I move into regular sizes I'll enjoy the in store shopping process again though? I did all my shopping online too. I’m Finally enjoying going to the store again.
