Sweedfire86 29 Posted June 15, 2018 Every Surgeon and surgery group is different. But my Surgeon is completely against chewing gum. They said that if the gum gets swallowed it can cause problems on the sleeve and can create a blockage. sillykitty 10,776 Posted June 15, 2018 I chew gum with no issues. Personally I would be insulted if my surgeon banned gum because "it gets swallowed".
