Yes. Me too. 3 to 4 bites and I’m done. If I push it it’s like a lead weight in my stomach. I want real meat so badly. Like a meatball or prime rib.
I am waiting for that stage so over this liquid stage. Have you tried the baked ricotta that everyone loves.
Good luck

No but just wrote down the ingredients to pick up after work today. Can’t wait to try it. Need something different.

Also nutritionist said fat free refried Beans, hummus, chopped shrimp salad. My mouth is watering at this point can't wait til next Wednesday. Someone said mash potatoes ( or mash colliflower mash). We need to get a list going and hope our taste bud like it.

I had FF refried Beans yesterday with Sriracha and I can't believe how flavorful it was. Thought it would be bland as... but even without the hot sauce it was really good. Had about a teaspoon and I was done. Covered and put in fridge, had a bit more later in the day and I guess from sitting with the sauce it was even better. I have a head of cauliflower that I want to try some things with, rice, pizza crust/bread, cheese grill and maybe a casserole recipe I found. Alot for one head but as much as i'm eating I'm sure it'll be fine.

My nutritionist said not bread, potatoes or Pasta so I would think that includes mash potatoes but since we could only have a few bites I am going for it. Also Wendy's chili just puree it more.

I wasn’t told no potatoes. Interesting. Yes. Chili sounds great.

I’m in puréed stage and it has potatoes on it... during liquid stage I liquified instant potatoes for more energy and added the Protein broth to it instead of water.. it was heaven...

I like Wendy’s chili... u all are bold... I’m nervous about anything causing more acid or illicit acid reflux...

All dr have different list of food we can eat. I am making notes to see when I am finally at this stage I can eat. Yummy finally some really food. Do not get me wrong I am not even hungry at all I really need to try to get food well Soup in, at least twice a day and 2 Protein Shakes and it hard for me to do that. I can just have Water all day and I am good. So maybe I am just over this stage. Counting down to next Wednesday making egg salad yummy...

I can only eat 3-4 bites also they are chewed thoroughly to break it all down. Mashed potatoes were on my list seems like it varies from dr to dr

I’m still in liquid phase and my fav has been egg drop Soup strained. It is so good and soothing. Next phase I won’t have to strain the eggs.< /p>

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
