beingdina 64 Posted June 12, 2018 The first place I wanted to go through has you find out if WLS will be covered. They told me it was an exclusion. When I asked the surgeons office if they would try to get it approved they said it wouldn’t happen and they won’t even try. I keep reading about people whose surgeons offices have all appealed again and again and their insurance finally says yes if they go through 6 months of stuff. I’m trying to find out if PacificSource is a hard NO or has anyone had success in getting it covered? Thanks!

Talk to HR to see if you can pay higher premium.Sent from my LG-M153 using BariatricPal mobile app
beingdina 64 Posted June 12, 2018 Thanks. That probably won’t happen, which is a bummer. I’ve only been there 4 months and still on “probation”. As it is I have to be there 2 more months before I can sign up for FMLA to protect my time off for the surgery and follow up appointments.
