Ellens531 81 Posted June 11, 2018 After seminar, consult and 2 nutritionist appts, my company is switching insurance companies and that office is not covered. Now I have to switch Drs and not sure if I need to start all over. Has anyone had experience with this?Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using BariatricPal mobile app
Sosewsue61 3,185 Posted June 11, 2018 It will be up to the surgeon's office and the insurance company, but it might be possible to transfer the records and have it count. But the requirements could all be different - email the insurance and email the approved surgeon and ask - that way you at least have it in writing.

I know a few people who have used the Aetna approved Dr and love him. If I have to start over again, I only did two nut visits so at least I wasn't at the end then had to switch. I just don't want to do seminar again. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using BariatricPal mobile app

Idk why, but its my worse fear that im gonna show up to the last of my visits and somehow be like .5 lbs over or something.... lol I'm a worrier.
