TexasBecky 1 Posted November 4, 2007 I am happy with my restriction right now. I was very surprised to have gotten some noticeable restriction from my first fill. At each fill, I was encouraged to make another appointment for two weeks later. So I got three fills in a six week period. They were each very small, but I would say for now I'm at a good place. I can eat a wide variety of foods, just in small quantities, which is exactly what I had hoped for. I've scheduled the next fill for 6 weeks (a couple of weeks before Christmas). Good luck with your 2nd fill. I hope it gets you where you want to be. Let us know.
bekafina 0 Posted November 5, 2007 I could really tell with fill number 2, on my first fill I was a little scared (not knowing what to expect) and only had 2.8cc's put in but I went last week and I now have 5.4 cc's in and oh what a change!! Had my first PB this weekend! That is okay though I have also lost 3lbs since Thursday!!:clap2:
Liz1531 3 Posted November 7, 2007 I'm dying to know the answer to this one. I got a pretty good fill the 1st time around 1.8 in a 4cc band. But, there is still no good restriction. I need more!!! Hopefully number 2 will help.
valstar 0 Posted November 13, 2007 Hello all, I got my second fill yesterday. I thought I had a 10cc band turns out Ihave a 4 cc band. My first filll was 1.5 cc I felt no restriction. I left the hospital and wanted to eat! Yesterday, they added 1.25 and it was too much. I couldn't pass anything through during the swallow test. They had to go back and remove .5 cc. Although I hadn't eaten all day (it was 3:30 pm bythe time the procedure started) I was not hungry for the rest of the day. I drank some Water and tea and was satisfied. I have pureed foods today and soft for the two days after that. I think this may be the one! Good luck with your second fill! KarenG. 0 Posted November 13, 2007 I felt a big difference. I dont have great restriction now but there was definately a differnce betwen #1 and #2 but this all depends on how agressive your doctor is will the fills.

pizzicato66 1 Posted November 14, 2007 Not counting the 2cc's I got at surgery, I had my first fill Monday up to a total of 3.2ccs in a 10cc band. I did have some mild restriction right off the bat from surgery time, but I'm definitely feeling the difference already from the last fill! We'll know for sure when I weigh in again Monday. lawanda jessica 0 Posted November 17, 2007 I had my surgery august 24th. I lost 16 pounds and nine pounds pre-op. I had my first fill october 5th. Lost another 15. Is it time for another fill? Last night I ate a half of turkey wing. I also had two glasses of wine. I felt like a Water balloon. I walked my five miles too. Is that alot?
KarenG. 0 Posted November 23, 2007 1/2 turkey wing. I think that if all you can eat is 1/2 a turkey wing then you don't need a fill but I what do I know anyway?!
Candle 11 Posted November 23, 2007 For me, I hope there's at least a difference - doesn't have to be a big one - lol. Fill # 2 is on 12/17 and I'm praying for at least a little restriction before Christmas so I don't eat like I did on Thanksgiving :phanvan
NanaRenan 0 Posted November 25, 2007 I've still got good restriction with just one fill, so I'm gonna ride it for as long as I can. Unlike so many of you, I have NO idea the size of my band or how much they put in it. Am I an idiot? Should I know this? Is it important to know?
