Smaller in NC RNY 3 Posted June 10, 2018 I am 17 days post op from surgery. Tuesday I should be switching to soft foods from liquids. I am just looking for suggestions or ideas. I do not like fish or seafood. Thanks in advance!!!
sillykitty 10,776 Posted June 10, 2018 Really, so many things qualify for soft foods. My favorites were taco seasoned ground turkey (with refried Beans, cheese & hot sauce), poached chicken with buffalo sauce, and lentil Soup. 1 Smaller in NC RNY reacted to this

I keep thinking that meat is not included in soft foods. Taco seasoned turkey sounds delicious!
JerseySleeved22 6 Posted June 11, 2018 I was told that my meat should be crockpot consistency (where it falls apart). I have been making chicken and pork chop dishes in the crockpot. I also do scrambled eggs with 1 oz cheese (that is my favorite). I am still have a difficult time with the meat. Its a little uncomfortable. Most time I can only get in about 2 oz. On a good day, 3-4 oz. I'm sure it will get easier as we move along.

I’ve heard eggs a lot but I can not do soft boiled, how do you do yours?
