J San 1,071 Posted July 27, 2018 Used my camel back on yesterday and today's walks. Minus the bladder because one of my kids broke it some time back. Had my daily BS I carry in it and my 32oz water bottle. Hardly any weight but considering I havn't done any kind of exercise in YEARS it works for now. I think the bladder pocket is a perfect place to put the weight. I have steel plates of varying weight and size so once I get more comfortable with this new fandangled walking thing I'll experiment with different amounts. 1 Frustr8 reacted to this

A few weeks back I put it on, and weighed myself and I was still less than my pre-op weigh in... the 2 miles I walked was less fun because of it LOL Hmmm... I know my nephew used to run with a weight vest. I wonder if he still has it. Might have to borrow it just to try it out. As long as it's not that heavy. Probably wouldn't fit anyway. It actually weighs more than 40... but this is the vest I have (mines the older version without the cup holder or headphone routing) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LH7Z942/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 1 wjgo reacted to this
soph504 47 Posted July 27, 2018 Walking at an incline on a treadmill is an option if compression gear doesn’t solve the problem. The incline means your body burns more calories and it’s easier on your knees and tummy. 1 wjgo reacted to this
