Trainwreck 1 Posted June 5, 2018 I’m two weeks post of and have just started puréed foods. I’m craving mountain bread. Do you recon it’s ok for me to eat ? Or to early
Orchids&Dragons 9,047 Posted June 5, 2018 When does your nutritionist allow any form of bread back into your diet? Most of us have very limited refined carbs for a long time.

Doesn’t sound like a smart decision. Stay away from anything white! It’s a good rule of thumb. 2 Matt Z and BigViffer reacted to this

Or to early Not that it matters to your question, but you failed to state which operation you had. Even still, no matter which WLS you had, I'm pretty sure no-one is approved for breads 2 weeks after surgery. I'd stay far away from any carb this early in your recovery... if you cave now, you are setting yourself up for a very bad habit moving forwards. I know it's hard, but stick to your plan, if you haven't been cleared, DO NOT EAT IT. Use this time to change your relationship with food, because this is part of what put all of us in the position we are in now. Be Strong! You got this! 2 Matt Z and Orchids&Dragons reacted to this
GreenTealael 25,438 Posted June 5, 2018 I was not allowed any bread like products for MONTHS, ask your team, get the real answer...
BostonWLKC 807 Posted June 5, 2018 Stay away from bread - especially that short time out. That’s way too much of a slippery slope
Syntax_Attack 76 Posted June 5, 2018 No bread!!! You should try to stay off of carbs as long as you can unless your doctor or nutritionist says otherwise. 1 Bryn910 reacted to this
