Frustr8 7,886 Posted March 23, 2019 Count your victories where you can, you and I sure didn't pick average recoveries out of the old mail bage, did we? Happy news, after the PICC removal I am back losing like Gangbusters and I now weigh less than Tomkitten my son, weigh 5 3/4 pounds less as of yesterday. February into March, had PICC removal after being hospitalized overnight and into the next day, i have found out I have a cyst on one of my 3 kidneys, although I do have a thoracic aorta aneurysm, it has remained stable over the last year, had Fluid removed from my right shoulder joint, ortho says the plate and 12 screws that are 9 years old need removed, ambulatory short-stay surgery, wants to do it as soon as things calm down more, March 11th I had an Iron INFUSION done in Columbus, not bad on the surface but as my body tried to clear out the massive iron influx I had Black stool that went to black Water, and kept me up over half the night. Then I developed a very scary stuff neck, while doing cat scans and other tests they could think of, and they did have fervent imaginations, it was discovered I have a nodule on my left thyroid, and it is of such a size, close to 2 cm, that it can't be ignored as a product of advancing age, so this Wednesday I had a thyroid work-up and scan, also carotid Doppler because I am having periods of double visions, unexpectedlyi am watching CNN and I see 2 Donald Trump on screen, and one if him is more than enough at times. Then I had a Reclast INFUSION yesterday noontime, PCP settled on that instead of pills and capsules, because of my still- impaired swallowing abilities. And time marches on, doesn't it? Now I am 30 pounds from Valerie, Dr Needleman's head Nurse Practioner, goal for me but I still would like to go for 175 and a size 15 junior in the end. Almost time for my 7 month- versity, wondered a few times if I would be alive to make it? I guess it is what it is, don't fight against the briars when I will be the one getting stuck!👈👸👉

The gastric bypass has been around as strictly a reflux surgery for many, many years before they realized that it aided in weightloss also. It started out as a reflux surgery. And while u must be heavier than 150 lbs to receive it for weightloss reasons, they will do it for reflux for a lesser weight. I voiced concern that I may lose too much and my dr told me that our bodies are smart and they tended to lose until they're at a healthy weight, then level out. I may get to a little less than my goal, fairly quickly, but my body would level out and stay healthy. It's super rare to become anorexic. Even knowing that its rare, of course I'm still concerned. And when I dont have reflux for 4 or 5 nites, I rethink my surgery decision. Then BAM - its back and I'm up for 3 hrs coughing and vomiting up stomach acid, feeling like Im having aheart attack, and will lose my voice the next day. And I sleep sitting up in an adjustable bed. I've tried everything conservative over an almost 5 yrs time period and it just gets worse. If I dont have the surgery (and while there is a reflux surgery, called the Fundoplication, I don't have enuf stomach left for it to be done), more damage will be done to my esophagus and I risk cancer and acid eating holes. My dr has gone over all the risks involved and the risks of doing nothing surpass the risks of the revision. I can figure something out to do with my back pain while I'm unable to take pills post op. I guess I can mix the Kratom powder with some Protein Shake, or switch to CBD oil during this time. I'm curious at how differently my body absorbs medication differently also with the bypass. Whether I will need less pain meds or what. Anyway, just wanted to let u know that its a safe surgery when weighing 150 lbs (I now weigh 154). The bypass started as a reflux surgery many, many years ago and they discovered that people were losing huge amounts of weight with it so it was tweaked and became the weightloss surgery we know now. And Im hoping Im not 1 of the rare people that cant stop losing.... Marci Hiya. I have rny since june 2019 and have been taking kratom for about a month now. I used yo just down it in a few oz of coffee but cant do that any longer. I get powder online and then put it in capsules myself. I can get down the big ones (000) but they do make smaller caps if needed. It absorbs really fast for me (all meds do for me). Takes about 15 to 20 mins even in the gelcaps i just take a lot of Water with them (normally about 6 pills total with 20oz of water in about a span of 15 mins.). I take 2:1 ratio of a certain red with a certain white and it makes me feel good plus takes my pain from an 8 down to about a 4 (i have chronic kidney stones). If you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask!! :)

If you don't mind , how much of the powder do you put in a capsule, as in how much really is your dose of 6 capsules? Also what are the white and red powders? Thank you. Juliancole 0 Posted May 10, 2021 (edited) Hello. The dosage depends on the purpose for which you use kratom. I have been taking it for six months now, as I suffer from neuralgia. Kratom dulls the pain. Thus, my physical and moral condition is maintained in a normal state. It's more convenient for me to take it in capsules, I found them here. I take one tablet a day. If someone is comfortable carrying it as a dietary supplement, you can order it in powder form https://amazingbotanicals.net/kratom-wholesale/. The product description contains all the dosage measures, but you can consult your doctor to make sure. Kratom is not a prohibited product. And many people use it as an analgesic. Highly_Undermedicated 55 Posted May 12, 2021 I was using Kratom pre surgery for spinal pain and Migraines but post RNY I tried it once and could not keep it down. Now I use CBD Delta 8. It's legal in all 50 states. Available in vape and CBD shops. Best effective when vaped. And works better than THC.
Medic6031 0 Posted January 15, 2023 Good evening. I had RNY almost 2 years ago. I use Blate Papes to take my Kratom. They are thin films made from potato starch and dissolve in about 4 seconds so the product is absorbed at once instead of them taking different times to dissolve like capsules do.
