Since I don't have an Amazon acvount, truly we have never spoke, I had resigned myself to chewable or bust!😛Amazon no longer sells them either. I think eBay had some but overpriced because that’s how some sellers like to make money 🤦🏽♀️ I guess we all have to settle for chewables 1 Frustr8 reacted to this
Frustr8 7,886 Posted June 9, 2018 I wish us bariatric consumers could petition the GasX gods to relent and resume cranking them out! Makes me say Should have done this sooner when they were prevelent. I'm laying on my bed with my c,-pap,on, I feel asleep last PM without it, did I wake up in the night and put it on? Do not remember, so this morning I look like an out of work jet pilot. I'm trying to show compliance so my surgery will happen why can't I get, bonus points for my 6-8 hours usage, if it was a fair world they should add them all together, then divide the hours by 30 and see I'm trying to be sweetly compliant! I will not get barred from surgery on a technicality if I can at all prevent it!💦
Oceanlove 98 Posted June 9, 2018 I hate that machine with a passion. The second the surgery is over I’m going to clean it, dry it, and Celebrate putting it away in it’s pretty little case. Then stuff it in the back of the closet where I never have to think of it again. 1 Frustr8 reacted to this
Oceanlove 98 Posted June 9, 2018 I was thinking of the gas X chewable but then found the melt away ones I’m thinking of getting instead 1 Frustr8 reacted to this
Frustr8 7,886 Posted June 9, 2018 I thought having sleep, apnea was going to be a boost toward getting surgery sooner, not that somebody was going to get all whiney about it! Sheesh I'm a sweetypie I don't need this grief!😟

First, I paid for the surgery in full with the office ($$$!!!!! ouch - but a good ouch - this is the beginning of a big change and journey in my life). The Bariatric Coordinator reviewed all my Vitamins and I'm in good shape. I received my binder (WLS Bible) which I'm eager to read over in detail. We discussed the Pre-Op Diet again which starts 10 days before surgery. The Bariatric Coordinator answered all my zillions of questions. I had a little pocket size moleskine that I've been keeping questions and notes in. By the time the Surgeon came in, I really had no further questions as I felt like everything had been answered already. I received my Pain RX script and also was told my surgery would be at 12:30 P.M. on Monday, 6/25. However, they did say that the time could easily get moved up to earlier in the day. I received a goodie/sample bag of various Vitamins and shakes and juices to try out. The team is amazing and I learned that the facility that I'm having surgery in is so brand new that it actually is opening next week. They said the recovery rooms are like a hotel room with an amazing view and for patient visitors, the lounge is insane with an amazing coffee shop. YAY! I am a sucker for architecture, NEW, aesthetics and design. They told me the Nurse Anesthetist will call me in the near future to go over all surgery related stuff (timing, meds, what to expect, etc.). I left feeling pretty excited. I went to CVS after and filled my RX and purchased a few more items: liquid Tylenol, Pepcid Complete (which I need to take 2 a day for the first 6 weeks before I graduate to calcium citrate chewable). I'm going to jump online and buy some Gas X strips. Otherwise, I feel pretty prepared in terms of supplies. You are doing great!!! 2 Frustr8 and Little Kansas Kitty reacted to this

dorrellkc 4 Posted June 11, 2018 Congrats on your upcoming Surgery! Do you have family in San Diego? Safe travels as you travel West. No I don't have any family in California at all. The reason I am having the surgery there is that the hospital is what is covered by by work Insurance.
