Tomorrow is my date. Can’t wait! Taking my before pics in the morning to use as my base and my continued motivation to stay on plan.

I get sleeved tomorrow too! I'm excited, I just had my last Protein Shake before the 24 hours of Clear Liquids starts.

Today is my last day of regular food. Surgery prep starts tomorrow. So nervous but so excited! I had my surgery preop on Thursday. I am all ready to go. Good luck to everyone! I started a vlog to really help me process my emotions. If you are interested in watching , let me know. I have four videos up and my preop appointment recap coming soon.

So far this is day 6 on my liquid diet, it’s getting a little easier, I’m trying to keep myself busy with work, tv, movies, and talking with friends, I think the smell of food is the worst for me!!

Mine is scheduled for June 28 in Tijuana, Mexico with Dr. Ponce. I’m going by myself. I’m scared, nervous, excited, a whole slew of emotions going on. Any June sleevers being sleeved in Mexico?

I, too, have been cooking for my husband and kids. Some nights I could eat my helpings plus theirs!!! But I’m too chicken sh*t to risk complicating the surgery so I’ve powered through and you can too!!! It will give you a new meaning to the words ‘will power’ that’s for sure! I’m scheduled for June 6th. Good luck to you!

Potential June sleever here! Submitted to insurance and hoping for a date the week of the 25th. Surgeon's office thinks it's possible.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
