BabsR 27 Posted May 28, 2018 Today was a huge win. I was given the all clear last Thursday at my two week post op to return to the gym. I have a few restrictions. No abs and I must sit when lifting weights to start. I also am able to return to spin. The first week home was an emotional roller coaster but now it’s smooth sailing. I have to say anyone considering this surgery do it. It will change your life for the better. I’m down 25lbs since starting the pre op diet so about a month total time. I can feel it all over and people are now starting to notice. 75 more pounds to go and I know it’s going to happen this year. melmssc 36 Posted May 28, 2018 I'm happy you got the all clear. My doctor at 3 weeks- said no way. Until I'm able to consume enough calories that support regular activity that any extra workouts were out of the question and not safe. I have not updated my stats, but I'm currently 30 pounds down from my pre-hospital weight on May 1st. I am doing really good to get 500 calories in a day most of the time it's 400 or less. What is your caloric intake?
BabsR 27 Posted May 29, 2018 Not sure what my calorie intake is. My doctor wants 60-90 oz of Protein a day so that’s what I try to achieve. Some days are easier than others for sure.
