minerals13 0 Posted November 7, 2007 :omg:OK karlvr! You're CRAZY! But WOW, I'm impressed. I don't have the energy to move now, much less after surgery. But you go for it! It's got to be that you are positive & stoked! Congratulations! Hope you'll share your progress with us. Carol Okay call me crazy but, I was banded on 10-30-07 and I painted my dining room this morning. The more I move the less sore I feel.
SunriseinPA 0 Posted November 18, 2007 Hi, I found you in a search on this sight. I am going through the same office as you did. My surgery is scheduled for January 9, 2008. I sure would love to hear from you. I have a ton of questions residing just underneath a pile of nerves. I hope by this time the worst is behind you and that you are doing well. ~~ D ~~

Mysticalks 0 Posted November 19, 2007 Hey Sunrise! Did you say you were getting your surgery done with Dr. Champion in Atlanta or getting it done in PA? I haven't been on lapbandtalk.com for a while, so I'm a little bit lost!

kloy 0 Posted November 27, 2007 I didn't forget about you. As I said I will answer your questions the best I can and try to be helpful. I am 1 month out of surgery and feeling great, almost too good cuz i can eat anything without a problem. I have not lost any weight since the surgery, added a few pounds , but looking forward to the first fill dec. 14. I guess it's logical to go from liquids to 'real' food and put on a couple of pounds. I try to watch very carefully what I eat, but I don't feel full after a small meal due to lack of restriction, so it's a challenge. FYI: they don't weigh you before you go into surgery, so when I went for my 2 week follow up they were thrilled with the weight loss, but it was all lost during the pre op diet. I was not so thrilled. Anyhow, ask away and I'll do my best to be helpful. I didn't know anyone that went thru this before me and I got a lot of info from the website. It would have been nice to talk to someone.
