I don't mind the shakes but I wish they had a variety pack I get tired of the same taste...I'm scared to get on the scare at my pre op appointment. Sent from my SM-G928T using BariatricPal mobile app My appointment went great. Super fast and easy. Had a blood draw, BP reading, and meds discussion - was outta there in 25 minutes!! Two days earlier, the bariatric nurse taught a 2 hour class on everything the patient should know before surgery day about expectations, instructions, things to buy, etc. it was super helpful - I had read a lot of the info already from the books I received months ago, but to hear it made a huge impact and answered a bunch of questions I had about things (my meds, day of surgery, etc.) My mom came with me so she could hear it all too which was nice. How are you doing?? Are you taking 2 weeks off work after surgery? Megan 1 Frustr8 reacted to this

KristinaC 10 Posted July 18, 2018 I'm 1 week post op. Doing well as of Monday, the first days were rough for me... I had Migraines on top of recovery pains. Cleared to drive now and go back to work tomorrow. I'm excited to get back into a routine. The way I eat and drink now is so different. I didn't know what to expect. Still on liquids, Protein Shakes and thin/pureed foods like cereals and Soups. Next week will be a transition to the next stage. Best wishes to you as you prepare for this new change. 3 Frustr8, AEdoesRnY and BeeCat reacted to this
