Jpsl1028 7 Posted May 18, 2018 I am getting close to my last weigh in appointment and I am getting nervous about the insurance process. I have Amerihealth Caritas. I am worried that all this work will just end in a denial. My question is... The insurance has paid for all if my appointments so far with no issues. Does this mean they already have an idea if what's happening and are going to approve it? Thanks. Just looking for some advice from anyone who has gone through insurance approvals. 1 1 Jpsl1028 and Frustr8 reacted to this
BostonWLKC 807 Posted May 19, 2018 My understanding is that the final submission packet has to be approved and until that happens--anything can happen. BUT I cant imagine they would deny you. Try to hang in there 1 1 Frustr8 and Jpsl1028 reacted to this
ScoutCR 126 Posted May 19, 2018 My Surgeon had me get pre approval for health reasons and then after the 6 months of diet and weigh ins the insurance said that I had lost too much weight! My surgeon resubmitted and I was approved. It is a roller coaster, but if you qualify it should work out. 1 1 1 Jpsl1028, busyforever and Frustr8 reacted to this
