Michelle 1980 4 Posted May 16, 2018 I'm in the process of resetting my sleeve. I have read on how to do this. I'm going to mimic the post op diet. Not sure if i will lose the same amount. Anyone else done this? 1 iymercado reacted to this

Richard Foor 655 Posted May 17, 2018 I am currently doing this. I had my Sleeve back in December of 2012 and had lost around 160 lbs. Unfortunately, I slowly over the years had gained about 100 of that back. So about a month ago I decided it was time to fix myself again. So I started following my post op diet again and then into my regular diet, as it is I have lost around 15 pounds so far in this new round, find i'm not having any difficulty following the old diet plan so far. I guess we will see what happens. 2 ProudGrammy and Mrs. Rob reacted to this
laurileet 86 Posted May 17, 2018 I am about to get the sleeve. What do you mean by "resetting"? 1 GreenTealael reacted to this
GreenTealael 25,439 Posted May 17, 2018 I am about to get the sleeve. What do you mean by "resetting"?When people feel they have gone off plan they restart it by going through all the steps Some from the preop diet through the post op diet phases some only through the post op diet phases as directed initially by their surgical team HW270 SW238 CW176 VSG11/7/17[emoji956][emoji956][emoji956][emoji956][emoji956][emoji956][emoji956][emoji956][emoji956][emoji956][emoji956][emoji956] 1 laurileet reacted to this
GreenTealael 25,439 Posted May 17, 2018 I hear it works but will depend on many factorsHow far out you are from surgery, if you actually have more weight to lose vs skin, etcHW270 SW238 CW176 VSG11/7/17[emoji956][emoji956][emoji956][emoji956][emoji956][emoji956][emoji956][emoji956][emoji956][emoji956][emoji956][emoji956]
Michelle 1980 4 Posted May 17, 2018 I’m almost 4 years post op. I have indulged in to much alcohol and put a lot back on. So to reset my sleeve, I’m doing all the post op food stages again. Clear, liquid, purée, soft, normal foods. 1 GreenTealael reacted to this

It's taken you about five (5 years) to get back on course. BUT it could have been longer. Fifteen lbs gone!! You are making your kids (and yourself) proud. Keep up the good work. I hope to see less and less of you. Newbie alert, newbie alert - you must remain diligent with your eating/drinking for the rest of your healthier, happier, longer life. good luck kathy congrats 1 Richard Foor reacted to this
