Sdc04c 2 Posted May 15, 2018 (edited) I’m almost three weeks post op and I am having the hardest time sleeping. It takes me forever to fall asleep and then I keep waking up in the mid of the night- wide awake. I’ve been taking 10mg of Ambien, but even then it doesn’t work for me like it did prior to surgery. Is anyone else having sleep issues and does anyone know why??? I know I’m having pain and have a hard time getting comfortable, but that can’t be the entire reason for this erratic sleep pattern. Sosewsue61 3,185 Posted May 15, 2018 Hormones are all kind of messed up after surgery, and it could be that. Also get more Fluid in during the day. Also don't take your Multi Vitamins late in the day - if I take any B Vitamins in the afternoon, they keep me awake. I take Triple Calm magnesium (Amazon) at night. Worth a shot.
