Laurencj 0 Posted November 1, 2007 :help:I have been banded for almost exactly one year. In the first 3 months I went from 265 to 229 and am now hovering around 242 - 245. I have about as much discipline as a 2 peckered billy goat. I quit going to the doctor until 2 weeks ago because I felt as though I was failing miserably. They increased my fill and it has made no difference. I regularly have to PB or more. Usually well chewed food comes back up. Sometimes I can eat quite a bit and sometimes I can't eat two bites. I have a flouroscopy scheduled for mid-November to see if the band is still properly placed. I would enjoy...even entertain any good bantor, conjecture, a decent insult, constructive advice, condolences or any dang thing that would help me go forward. Thanks Annoyed and not very pleased. Traci 0 Posted November 14, 2007 i don't know if your dr. has told you this, but mine says to come back every two weeks if you don't lose 2 lbs. per week. i have been trying to do that faithfully since i had my surgery in june (fills that is). i have only lost about 34lbs in 5 months and i haven't done much exercise, but i have never gained a pound since i've had the surgery. i'm losing very slowly but i keep going every two weeks for fills til i get it right. i've had 5 fills (4.5cc) and don't feel quite the tightness i know it could. with each one i do notice a difference and i think i'm getting very close. i hope that they don't find that there is something wrong with yours and you end up having to take it out or repairing it, because my advice to you is to hang in there and try the way my drs. have told his patients to do. good luck!! i hope i have a help for you!!!
