I was 248 on my surgery day and 271 four days later! I had no idea that it was even a possibility to gain 23 lbs Water weight. It took a good 2 weeks for it to come off. Rocky start for me to say the least, but I’m in it to win it!

I was up 6 pounds the day after surgery when I went home. It went away in 3 days, plus took another 3 pounds with it. The more Water you are able to drink after surgery helps signal your kidneys to let go of the extra fluids. They were giving me 200 ml of saline with potassium for about 24 hours.
