I've been reading a bariactric book and says to not exercise post surgery due to the fact we are only eating 500 to 800 calories? Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app I have a Fitbit and I make an effort to walk a minimum of 6000 steps per day and next week I'm going to raise that to 7000. I've been trying to raise it by 1000 steps every week. For me I've found that it's best to do this in the morning or I sit and obsess and procrastinate all day long about doing it if I don't. And I feel SO much better you have no idea. This coming from someone with Rheumatoid Arthritis who hasn't walked more than 3000 steps per day in at least 10 years. 1 aery reacted to this

MissB_fit_2018 51 Posted August 14, 2018 Hey Sleevers! So tomorrow marks 2 Months.... I'll share my stats below but i'm down 27 pounds.... most of that was lost at the beginning and I wish i could say I wasn't hoping for a little more loss but its also a hell of a lot more then it would be without my sleeve. So I will try and remember not to let it get me down and just continue pushing forward. I did start going to the Gym last week and it had not been easy but it has gotten better with each visit. The first time i thought i was gonna die from dehydration. So now I make sure I drink as much as i can before I go and that has helped. I feel sore as a hell but I take that as a good thing. I feel like all 27 pounds lost were from my butt so I figured the gym will help with that lol. The biggest problem I've had is food.... I never know what is gonna sit well. Today I had a salad and now I've felt sick all day! The stuff that seems to stick without issue is the bad stuff.... pizza, chipotle, mashed potatoes.... That right there is the reason I'm losing slow.... I want to eat the healthy stuff but it happens every time I eat and then I gotta run to the RR.... TMI i know but anyone else running into this? If so anyone had any luck with getting better. Stats: HW:202 SW:197 CW:175 GW:125-135 1 Lala70 reacted to this

aery 30 Posted August 14, 2018 43 down today since surgery on 6/18. I have had the flu and have been sick for over a week now, and it has been HARD. My appetite has been just non existent so I have been eating small amounts of whatever food appeals at the moment. I haven't gone off the rails or anything but I have definitely been eating a bit more carbs than before and to my surprise, the scale approved!

I hear u im sick now and the oddness is that carbs make me feel ok. I still have a little level of nausea in the morning and when I don’t eat. And I go for my saltines 2 Frustr8 and aery reacted to this
MrsLingo 74 Posted August 15, 2018 Hello Sleevers, stats HW 271 SW 264 CW 220 Today marks two months for my VSG. It’s been a struggle but I’ve managed to keep carbs out my life. I haven’t eaten rice bread potatoes and focused on Protein only. Still having problems with my fluids and working out, but I manage to walk 2 miles a day and that it. 1 1 Robyn Riley and pacheka reacted to this

Lala70 23 Posted August 20, 2018 Man I cannot eat salads for the life of me! I wish I could! I absolutely loved salads before. If I have a bite or two, I immediately have the urge to vomit. I’ve lost 20 lbs since the pre diet began. Nearly 2 months post op. Have stalled, again. I’m bruising like a sensitive banana! Need to look into Iron sups. Just not sure I can stomach more Vitamins. Well, summer is nearly over, here’s to being fit and Healthy next summer 2019 :) 2 Frustr8 and Rudedogg89 reacted to this
