Silke 8 Posted May 8, 2018 Hello, I am new here Yesterday I had my first initial visit with the surgeon. I am getting the Roux-en-y, gastric bypass. I called my insurance today and it is covered, yay!! Thank god I don't have to go thru a 3 or 6 months diet before getting approved. I now have to go to a nutritionist, psychologist, getting blood work and EKG done and so forth. it is getting real now. I was not aware that i would have to go thru all these appointments but it will be all worth.

Silke 8 Posted May 9, 2018 I hope to have my date set in 3-4 months from now. I am super exited. I know I can do the change of my eating habits. It will be hard but I cannot wait until I can finally walk without pain, riding my bicycle and so on. 1 baribetty reacted to this
