FluffyChix 17,415 Posted May 8, 2018 I made the big haul on shrimp the other day. They were on sale and they were the big fat, juicy kind--already deveined and easy to shell. Score! So I splurged on a pound. I decided to grill all of them and skewered and cooked em up, mi-T-fine. F-I-N-E! And now I have them in a big ol' container waiting and ready for meals and set Snacks. I also made a passel of fresh pico with avocado and lime. Holy guacamole crudo! So. Damn. Good. I am eating it for elevensies as we speak and the world just doesn't get any better!!! Oh hail mighty shrimp Your charred smoky flesh delights Get in mah belly. 1 3 Apple203, MIZ60, newself and 1 other reacted to this
istytehcrawk 256 Posted May 8, 2018 I'm a weirdo -- I like the taste of shrimp, but I can't stand the texture! 1 FluffyChix reacted to this
FluffyChix 17,415 Posted May 8, 2018 In the Vietnamese and Asian groceries they have these shrimp crackers! LOL you should check em out! You can also process em raw into a paste and form them into patties like croquettes. It will help deal with the texture. I adore the lobster-like texture. Wish I could afford lobster, but not gon' happen. LOL.

When we do it's about $23/lb. Isn't that so stupid? I love it though!
