Hi Stargirl,

My NUT told me that they recommend PatchMD Multivitamin Plus. They are so much easier than swallowing all the Calcium, Multivitamins, B12, Vitamin D, etc.

My RD told us that the patch is not a good option. Many Vitamins can not be absorbed through the skin. We were instructed to never use vitamin patches.

I actually just purchased the Iron patch and I heard good reviews about them. I couldn't find the right iron pill.

I love my patches! At my 3 month appt all my labs came back great and my Nut and Dr. were very happy. I have a Multi patch, D3, Iron and B12.

What's the brand of Iron patch that you get?

All of my Patches come from Patch MD but I buy them from the BariatricPal Store here. Its the Iron plus.

I didn't at first I just started with the Calcium patch because I was trying to take my pills but after a month I couldn't take all the pills so I switch to the bypass bundle. Way easier to just wear 4 Patches a day. Lol

Oh ok I just asked my surgeon about it and he said it should be fine. I hate taking pills so i have gummies, lol.

I had multivitamin and Calcium D3 Patches. I put them on at night when I sleep and take off in morning but some nights I forget to put them on. Do you guys wear them during the day?

I just put a new one on in the morning and take off the old one at the same time. This works great!

I did, there are ok but our body did not absorb more than 40%. I am taking my Vits and one Vitamin IV after my surgery, so I got hydratatted
