Shifty supports

Everyone I am about 4 days post-op and I am just now getting home. Now that I'm home I realize that my support system really isn't that support of of the surgery and what it takes to help me heal. I'm home with my mom (I'm 23) and she makes everything I need sound like chore for her. No one is paying attention to smells them might bother me or even checking on me to make sure I'm okay. I'm pretty much on my own. I just want to feel support.

Sorry they're not as supportive as you'd expected. Hopefully, you may only need your mom for another day or two, if that. So, whether she groans or not, get her to do the laundry and clean the bathroom now!

p.s. If your Mom's not good with empathy, it may not even occur to her that you may be sensitive to smells.
