mamalala 13 Posted May 2, 2018 Okay I was sleeved April 26th and I've been on a clear liquid diet but on May 4th through May 6th I will be on vacation in Laughlin so I was wondering if anyone thinks that it's too soon to have a Protein Shake because that's the easiest choice to make especially since we will be on the go all weekend.Sent from my SM-G920T1 using BariatricPal mobile app
mamalala 13 Posted May 2, 2018 I forgot to ask how do you know when to stop drinking fluids. I have no restriction and have more than enough broth during the daySent from my SM-G920T1 using BariatricPal mobile app
Frustr8 7,886 Posted May 2, 2018 Bet you'll take a temporary break when all that Fluid comes out the other end. Seriously if it were me I'd try one of the clear fruit tasting ones from Syntrex or Premier Protein, if you do okay there then try something heavier like a P P shake.< /p>

I guess I'll just have to take my bag of liquids and broths with me. I won't try a Protein Shake until I'm home just in case if I need to run to the toilet I haven't went since I've been sleeved[emoji31] [emoji31] Sent from my SM-G920T1 using BariatricPal mobile app
 melissamiranda 8 Posted May 2, 2018 Hi Mamalala! After 1 week post op you should be able to transition to a full liquid diet, which includes creamy strained Soups, sugar free/light yogurt, and Protein Shakes. Premier Protein is by far the best tasting Protein on the market and has the highest protein content with the least amount of calories. I would definitely check with your doctor's office to make sure this is ok, since everyone's post op needs/instructions vary from person to person. 1 mamalala reacted to this
 mamalala 13 Posted May 2, 2018 Hi Mamalala!
