2 hour leg workout at the gym today.

I got the leg press up to 270! WOO-HOO! And I know I could have done more, just not as many reps most likely. I'd love to eventually catch up to my partner, but that is a LONG way off with him doing 540 already! (I am WAY too competitive! LOL)

I know how you feel, Dibaby. I've dated guys (though LONG ago!) that I WISHED I could "get into" because they were so nice, but it just didn't work. And, if you are like me, those are the ones that fall hard for you, making it even harder to dump them. Don't be too hard on yourself, though...nice is only part of the package...you need "spark", too. You deserve that!

Yeah i think i used to be one of those 'nice' guys :D

I believe that you are one of the nice guys still! But anyone who rides a sweet bike like that can provide spark! LOL Besides, MM strikes me a a firey one (in a great way, just an impression) so I'm sure you're more than "nice" to catch her!

By the way, I'm gonna brag a bit here! Speaking of "nice guys"....I married my high school sweetheart, who is a fantastic combination of "bad boy" and "sugary sweet guy"! (Just to give you a clue into this, he was the "favorite" in school, football quarterback, best at everything and worst of all he KNEW it...yet the first time I laid eyes on him on December 3, 1983 he was playing "Mother May I" with the elementary kids at school! What a doll!) He is definitely a "bad boy" at heart...a true redneck...SO NOT LIKE ME! LOL But with me he is the sugary sweet guy who would climb mountains and cross deserts for me! He's still amazing to me after all these years!

:kiss2::kiss2::kiss2: I LOVE HIM! :kiss2::kiss2::kiss2:

(Okay, brag over...)

Last night putting up the Christmas lights with my 7year old Daughter as my helper (seems she was more interested pretending the flashlight was a microphone and singing to the cars going by) She started calling me cheef! Where did that come from?

      Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

        As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

        Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

        Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

        Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

      Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
