Stress Test Ordered

Recommended Posts

I found out on Tuesday that I my EKG came back abnormal and they even went as far as to say I might of had a heart attack ;) at some point. I was absolutel thrown for a loop. I have no symptoms and I have not had any that I am aware of.

Now I have to have a stress test tomorrow morning at the hospital:faint:. I am seeing my surgeon today for my last visit before surgery. So we will see where this goes.

They told me they get these all the time that say abnormal and nothing is wrong. So I am keeping my fingers crossed and saying prayers.

They have not postponed anything yet so we will see.

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE who is having surgery today!!!:clap2:

Kristin! Well that's just kind of scary! I'm sure it's just fine. It's great that they're being so careful, though. You know, I've just been hearing so many great stories about so many great-sounding doctors. I'm really impressed!!!

By the way, we're having our surgeries on the same day. Let's keep in touch and compare notes. Let me know what you find out after your EKG. Good luck and think good thoughts!!!!!!

Big chance there's nothing wrong at all. But if there is, it's certainly good that you're finding out about it now!! Take care of yourself!

Hi, Kristin:

I switched to low-carb SlimFast and I think that's helping with the bloating. I may have been lactose intolerant of the Protein Powder. We'll see how it goes the next couple of days. It looks like yesterday, my second day, was the worst but it's early yet. No, actually, I felt the least sore getting up this morning and I had a good night's sleep, too.

Vanessa Really cleaning your house sweeite...I think not!!! Be careful you do not want to pull anything loose..... Remember you had major surgery, even though you don't have a huge insicion.

Wow I can only hope to feel as good as you both are. Longhorn you are using slimfast? Wow lucky, I have to have Clear liquids 4 three days after surgery before I start full liquids...:cry

I don't get gas on my Slimfast Hhigh Protein.

I ran some errands this morning and picked up some last little things that I will need and I think I should be ready, getting through the next five days with working for 4 of them will be the true test.

Keep up the good work ladies!!

I'm supposed to be on clear liquids for the first two weeks. However, the list says "protein powder mixed with milk or water." Since I was so bloated while drinking the Unjury mixed with Propel, I switched to low-carb SlimFast. Maybe it's a coincidence but the pain and bloating have gone away. I may try some Unjury mixed with chicken broth this evening and see how that goes.

I ordered my unjury this morning from the website. I have some in packets already but wanted to get the large bottles. From everything I have read it is the best 20 grms in once scoop and that is without adding it to a high Protein food.

Part of your bloating I am sure was the gas that they used to blow up your abdomen for the surgery and the swelling as well that will go down in 3 to 4 days after surgery most likely.

Keep on the road to recovery.......!!

I've had a bad reaction to whey Protein in the past. That's why I wanted to avoid the unjury for a few days. I was too sore elsewhere to put up with more pain from being lactose intolerant!

Also, the gas I was experiencing was inside my digestive system based on how it exited. I haven't quite figured out how the CO2 gas that my doctor injected into my abdominal cavity got inside my stomach and intestines. However, I'm no expert on this. If someone has an explanation, I'm interested!

In the meantime, I seem to be tolerating the SlimFast just fine. :(

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

      2. BlondePatriotInCDA

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
