Going back to work?

My surgery was 3/16 so I took off that Friday and the following Monday. I worked from home the rest of that week. I was very wiped out and should have taken more time. I did take the whole next week off which was our spring break. After the 2 weeks I was ready to go back to my desk job with no lifting over 10lbs.

I was sleeved 4/2nd & I went back to work on 4/9th. I have a sit down sedentary job , no heavy lifting. I had no problems returning to work at that time.

I took off 6 weeks as I had disability insurance. Think it depends on the person. I had a desk job but it was very demanding I would not have been able to get my Water and Protein in.

I had vsg on 4/10. My surgeon only likes to give 2 weeks off to every patient. I literally had to beg for 1 extra week off. I definitely needed it.
