Véronique 238 Posted April 28, 2018 Hello, So, I had bariatric surgery in late August and since November, I've been stalled in my weight loss at roughly 130 kg. Nothing I do seems to work. I've been keeping meticulous tabs on my Water and nutritional intake, I've been working out every day, I've had gallbladder surgery (so I can't even have fatty foods without getting sick), my surgeon put my on phentermine and I still haven't been able to break this stall. Does anyone know how I can break this stall? I've been trying everything and so far, nothing seems to work.
XYZXYZXYZ1955 675 Posted April 28, 2018 I've had some stalls, and, at least in part, some of that was attributable to my own divergence from the plan, but I think, given the amount of time that's gone by, I'd check with the doctor and nutritionist if I were you. Good luck. 1 Tonia_Raelynne reacted to this
Ang~10~17~17 22 Posted May 1, 2018 I had my gallbladder out in December and my weight loss has slowed way down. Went for my 6 months and they told me more Protein . 80 grams a day. I also use an app on my phone and it helps me keep better track . Started losing again since I use the app. I also can tell when I’m not losing on the scale, I am in inches. My clothes start fitting different.
Véronique 238 Posted May 2, 2018 Yeah, so do I. I typically get in at least 85 g of Protein a day and I am also keeping track of waist measurements and weigh ins because everything syncs to the cloud. I think that typically, people tend to take you more seriously when you have data to back you up.
