And whether there are truly rabbits in that rabbit hole or has that burrow been taken over by ferrets and their weasel kin. They
tend to kill by ripping open necks and shredding your carotid artery. You bleed out very quickly that way.
Fascinating what one learns when you live more than a few decades😣

I never considered that people on this site could possible Russian trolls lol

Highly unlikely anyone on this site's a Russian troll. Quite likely that someone on this site holds an opinion that was amplified by either Russia or Cambridge Analytica, though. Could be tame, could be vile, that's the tricky thing - it's kind of like "Inception", you internalize the thought as your own without recognizing it as originating elsewhere.

Here! Here! "This President" has created a hate atmosphere in the U.S. It may have always been there but he basically legalized it. People that keep saying we needed a change need to explain to me just what kind of change we needed. We have lost all decorum and decorum meant civility not the chaos we are experiencing. I am old school and have seen what life is with laws and regulations and what it is without. When people don't have the knowledge to make decisions, they most often make the wrong ones. It is the band wagon effect. It appears to me that often people don't even believe or understand what they are fighting for, it is just an excuse to spit in the face of anyone and everyone. Bringing your children to a protest to make a statement and calling it a history lesson, well I hope that they know whose responsibility it was if they are harmed or killed. To me, it is nothing but teaching a child "hate".

The change I see us needing now is logic and common sense. A child could do what "this President" is doing for the country and probably do a better job. How cliche' of me! Everyone knows that his party just wants to stay in power and will stop at nothing to have it even if it means supporting insanity.

I wince at the anger I hear in my words and I wish it weren't there, but it is. Just needed to vent I guess.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
