LynseyBcat 0 Posted November 1, 2007 :help: Hello People! I've been rejected by my insurance company once but since then I've been diagnosed with thyroid problems and diabetes, so my doctor wrote a letter and they are sending it to my insurance again. Wish me luck! I can't wait to hear.
BetterMe 0 Posted November 1, 2007 Good luck! I'm new too. I went to a seminar last week. I'm lucky that my insurance covers the surgery. I have told some family members/friends about my interest in the surgery and have been very surprised by their negative responses. I'm not going to let their opinions discourage me. I need to do this for me. They may like me fat, but I don't like being like this. I hope you aren't discouraged by the insurance company. Continue trying to get the surgery approved. catzintj 1 Posted November 1, 2007 good luck . i hate to deal with the insurance companies. i went to mexico. so if all else fails and you have to do self pay you can always research mexico. its about 8000.00. well worth it if you can afford it. but, lets hope you can get it done with insurance...... you would be lucky to have your doctor close to where you live..... traveling to mexico is not always convenient. hope all works out for you.......
