star2017 80 Posted April 21, 2018 I'm 11 days post op. Been feeling pretty good all my incisions are healing great. Since yesterday I've been getting this little pain right above my belly button usually only happens when i sit, get up or bend over, there's no fever No vomiting no severe pain just an annoying poking pain. I'm thinking it Maybe be the muscles since its right between two of my Incisions so I'm thinking they got disturbed during surgery. Anyone experience this? Orchids&Dragons 9,047 Posted April 21, 2018 Sorry to hear that. I've had tenderness there since my surgery. My doctor ran some lab work to see if it was inflammation in my liver or pancreas. Liver appears to be unhappy, but (for me), not enough to be concerned about yet. The first six weeks, I kept a heating pad on it every evening because it was so sore. No sharp pains, just very sore. Incisions all healed quickly.
IDONTWANTTOGROWUP 9 Posted April 21, 2018 I’m 33 days post op and I have same issue. I don’t know if it’s a hernia or what. I see doctor at 6 week check up so hopefully it goes away by then. 1 Orchids&Dragons reacted to this

Sammy 10-30 57 Posted April 21, 2018 Did you receive any hernia repair by chance? This led to my decision to elect to eceive a gastric sleeve and my hernia repair were stitched vice using a mesh. So my discomfort was because of this and the gastric sleeve, I just couldn't tell which one it was other than it took some time to heal up. Definitely, consult with your physician (Nurses) before you approach your post-surgery appointment soon, as I am sure you already aware of. Hope our perceptions and experiences are helpful.
