Four months out- what’s your volume?

Recommended Posts

Hi All

Paranoia setting in around how much we should be eating at four months out?!

I am full after 3/4 of a cup… Does that sound right? Usually around 600 -650 calories and 4 ounces weighed but sometimes that equates to 3/4 of a cup volume.

Anybody know or have insight where we should be at 4 months for volume? Ie half cup? 3/4 cup? Etc

I eat 1200 calories a day. Still usually eat about 6 little 200 calorie meals. More comfortable, keeps the serving size small, and I have great energy and am never hungry:)

Hi there

i am 4 months out but unlike @Creekimp13, my surgeon is a “strictly three meals a day” guy.

I can eat about 3/4 cup per serving. I start with Protein, get 50-60g a day (not quite enough, but we do make some of our own) and usually 700-800 calories. I am never hungry.

I have been in China all week, with many official banquet lunches and dinners. They are much more modest than they used to be 10 years ago, but still the food is placed, dish by dish on a lazy Susan, and it comes and comes for an hour or so. I definitely felt a bit obliged to eat more than I would have, a bite or two of many dishes. I think I ate a little more volume this way, spread out (usually I eat pretty quick). Good healthy food though - so still dropped a couple of pound!

Ok thanks- makes me feel a bit better. I worry about “stretching” by over eating but at the same time don’t feel like I’m over eating lol. Mental craziness I know!
