BethFromVA 5 Posted January 6, 2009 My surgeon's practice says "thin" liquids and I can kind of see that. Some of the stuff you can eat during the "full" liquid phase doesn't seem very liquidity to me. But they also say "anything that can go up a straw" and you can make a lot go up a straw. Hehehe, so true. My surgeon said they actually had people eating CAKE BATTER because they could get it up a straw. Many were impressed with what they could get to go up a straw. The surgeons not so much. :tongue2:

losingjusme 12 Posted January 6, 2009 Now, do I *really* want to read the prostitution thread?? Hmmmm not really ... **yawn** Good morning everyone! LJM, make hubby give you a massage, you deserve the pampering right now. I am enjoying reading everyone's responses in the prostitution thread. I am also behaving myself and refraining from posting. Day two of the five day pouch test. Why am I doing this to myself? I hate liquids only, I am starving and have a massive headache. Something tells me by dinner tonight I am going to cave. oh, Susan, you can eat on the pouch test, didnt you know that? i did it and as you can see, i'm FINE... trust me - even though i'm no doctor or any medical professional Hehehe, so true. Bea1128 1 Posted January 6, 2009 Okay, I need your help. You guys are always so full of widsom and advice so I'm hoping you can help. First of all, I'm a night person. I get more done at night and would rather work that way; however, I start nursing school in two weeks and have to be up before 5 a.m. to get to clinicals several times a week. During the holidays I got totally out of whack staying up late and then sleeping in. My plan was to get back on track when my kids went back to school. So I thought I'd get up at 6 a.m. this week and then next week go to 5 a.m. to try to ease into it. It's not working!!! I haven't been able to sleep the last two nights. I was really tired last night since getting up early, but couldn't sleep. I tried one Tylenol PM and I slept worse and didn't feel rested at all. So who has an old family remedy or advice on how to switch back and get back into the swing of things. I feel terrrible today and have no energy. My head is killing me. I have tons of stuff to do, but I'm dragging! Thanks for your input!!
LilMissDiva Irene 3,282 Posted January 6, 2009 Bea, I really like the Sleepy Time Tea.. its so wonderful. I don't really have trouble falling asleep right away though. I get up at 3 or 4 am depending if I need to do my workout in the am and have been doing it for years. Maybe it'll just take some time to work itself out? Best wishes! luluc 6 Posted January 6, 2009 bea, i start school back up on thursday (only 2 courses) - however i am an early bird...DH is the night owl. for him tylenol PM does work when he needs it - otherwise a good workout knocks him out earlier in the evening than without. when he is not exercising on a regular basis - he's up later & later.......he's been off for 2wks so far and has hit the gym almost everyday - in bed by 11 or 12...which is EARLY for him!.
