Froggi, hang in there. It will be worth it in the end.

Ebony I am very happy for you!

I am going to try to get one of those cool avatars. I am pretty computer illiterate, so if it's hard to get it on here, there is no hope.

DD and I were in line @ Target ... a woman got in line behind us (really close to DD)... after about 20 sec, DD says 'a little close there, lady'

Do you have to pay for those avatars? I can't seem to figure out how it works.

Some people just don't understand the concept of personal space. I like the way your daughter responded.

PJTP - It's a dreary blechy kind of day, so I have the IPOD loaded with music from South America and am dreaming of white sand beaches, tanned scantily clad muscular males serving me tropical drinks while I bask in the warm salt air.....

Tap, you sicko.

Okay for fear of reprisal to all those "multi-quote" haters I'm just going to freestyle here.

SnT - You are welcome and you deserve it. Keep up the good work girl. I'm also very glad I can make you laugh! It's what I was born to do.

She - Nice new avatar, and I hope you are feeling better.

Froggi - Congrats on your date and for doing well on your pre-op. Keep it up, its so worth it.

Slim - Yeah, what Donna said.

Donna - Thanks for helping slim out.

tap - You're invading my personal brain space.

Plain - How are you today?

Edit: My font was wrong.

I'm good, how YOU durin? BTW, do not be afraid to use the multiquote. The multiquote is your friend. Accept the multiquote. Love the multiquote.

My breath smells like macho. It makes ladies ovulate. Anywho, the weird / funny / awkward thing is that the close talker is a dude!! And he does it to everybody! He is oblivious (although a genuine and kind-hearted guy) to personal space.

Huh, and you recognize a kind-hearted person? Curious and surprising. Next time, just be honest and say, "Simon Sez take one step back."

So I got my meez to work. Lulu - think it looks like me? NOT! It's cuter than I am, haha

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
