OMG that is too funny. Why? It is so true! That is my horror story of grocery shopping minus three. I have two kids...I HATE to go to Wal-mart. It's worse than grocery shopping times a hundred. I swear to you - we have the same issue - we have the "talk" before getting to the store, then the "No you can't have that through the whole store"...oh and my kids have to go to the bathroom when we walk through the door. I don't care if they just went 5 minutes before. It's like Walmart has a pee-a-matic when you walk in the door. Sometimes twice. Too Funny Fairy!

I don't have children and cannot imagine going through with 6 kids. Why the H did everyone feel the need to ask if they were hers? (Tho I did wonder why she didn't have someone babysit them; oh like the DAD.)

Of course my friend with twin boys always had people ask if they were twins. "No, she and I just HAPPENED to have children the exact same age who really resemble each other. We thought it'd be great fun to screw with y'all and dress them the same!!" Daahhhhh

Maybe instead of prison, we should make people who commit less serious crimes take 6+ children to groceries instead! Rent-a-criminal!

Why thank you! I pride myself in coming up with non-standard fixes for problems!!!

Another one of my great (cough) ideas is to take all of the criminal "lifers" out to the Mohave Desert. We'll build a fenced-in area and arm them all. Last one alive, call us! Insensitive??

I think this approach would work well as birth control for teenagers. I like it! Add a couple of infants in there and call it a party!

ROFLMAO Leslie! The things we could come up with, girl! I say we go pitch this to the Guv'nah.

Remind me where you are in Ga again? Did you get all the torrential rains this week too?

Gah this is why I hate not being able to check LBT at work (stupid internet usage tracking). I miss out on all the fun and interesting stuff.

I'm glad you're handing in your notice LJM, this is good news for you and bub. Just think, even sitting at home with DD HAS to be better than your work (and workmates) even when she's on her wost behaviour, right??

Thursday morning - come on, long weekend!:smile2:

Living somewhat north of SNT, the only variation on the treatment of criminals approach would be to put them on islands in the Arctic Ocean. Lifers, gang members, and pedophiles. They could roam all they want - no matter where they go it will be ice and snow.

I'm in Southwest Georgia. Yes we got all the rain. The rivers still haven't crested. We were under tornado warnings for three days too. I'm so glad to see the sun today!

I think we've come up with a winner too! :smile2: LOL

I love this!

Though, I've been told I'm very insensitive. Lots of times. Wonder why...

If only they had this reality show where teens take over kids for a period of time, and they called it Baby Borrowers..

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
