brandyII 9 Posted June 10, 2008 Okay, I brought up dead people as in "I'm glad I don't see dead people" and Froggie brought up Sex and the magic bullet but not in the context of sex but in the culinary aspects of the bullet, which comes in two sizes and then someone brought up random and I said dead bodies and sex are not random and something about the magic bullet and then I got really tired, and it's really hot outside!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 I still don't know what magic sticks are????????????????????? MacMadame 81 Posted June 10, 2008 I hate this woman at work. She's a useless waste of space.

Oregondaisy 2,021 Posted June 10, 2008 I would take some of your heat. send it my way. It's 55 degrees here today. And it's JUNE!
brandyII 9 Posted June 11, 2008 My brother and sil lived in Portland for a few years when he was teaching there and they loved it and I'm still sorry I never got a chance to go there!! I think out of all the places they lived with their kids Portland is still their fav plus now they're where it's probably 100 degrees right now!
plain 12 Posted June 11, 2008 So far it's been unseasonably cool in Texas. It's only been in the 90's a handful of times (and it's June!! Unheard of!!).
*susan* 1,709 Posted June 11, 2008 We have just started hitting the 90's here in Jacksonville. And, we seem to be starting our usual summer afternoon storm weather pattern as well. See, isn't this nicer than cannibalism and sex with dead bodies?
plain 12 Posted June 11, 2008 Well, to be fair....the cannibalism is more palpatable if it's the "talking M&M's" eating M&M's.
*susan* 1,709 Posted June 11, 2008 Speaking of M&M's, I think my hubby might have a thing for her....
brandyII 9 Posted June 11, 2008 It was 102 degrees here today!!!, thankfully a cold front has just blown in so we can get back to normal.

The weather in Portland is so much better than where I live on the Oregon coast. I wish sometimes when I decided to move away from Chicago, I had moved anywhere than here. I am pretty much stuck here now. I would never leave my new 8 week old grandson or my kids. If they ever move, I will be right behind them!
brandyII 9 Posted June 11, 2008 AthinnerDenise, I know what you mean I'm far from my "homeland" too! But now I've come to terms with it, I think. I don't have grandchildren yet, knock on wood, they're still in college but I'm sure I'd be like that too if/when I do take care, brandyII. My mom was born and raise in ChiTown.
